The Pandorus Sphinx moth caterpillar is enough to make even MY skin crawl. He’ll grow up to have ornate wing patterns and irregular edges. (Google it.)

Nose to nose with my first beaver, I was so glad to have had my camera. The dams of beavers have flooded Cook Hollow Creek since I can remember, but I’ve never actually ventured down until recently.

The call of the Green Frog sounds like a plucked banjo string. It’s a loud, sharp “GUNG!”. During the summer it’s probably one of the most common sounds in the marsh, along with the bullfrogs.
